About the Klupeks' Design

So, these are Klupeks.
More precisely, these are some of the first batch of finalized Klupeks.
That's an important distinction, because they were printed one by one using a linocut, in 2 layers on both sides.

So, you can imagine, all Klupeks are not made equal. Let's just say that some are funnier than others. Which is part of the fun, actually !
Yes, the color varies here and there, and there's imperfections on some of them, yeah, it happens.
But it seems to me that these things happen with..... everything ?

So, if you're interested about the general design, there are a few things to note.
Well, color-wise, the choice is pretty obvious.
Aren't rainbows one of the most incredible phenomenon we can witness in the World ? I'd say it's pretty much up-there in the top 10 greatest things, no ?
Secondly, you might have noticed the sequence is not the usual one. This one is the start of the Fibonacci sequence, you know, the Golden Ratio. 1+1=2; 2+1=3; 3+2=5; etc, etc.
The thing is, this is apparently a growing sequence you find a lot in Nature, as well as what some call a natural beauty recognition pattern in humans. So you see something - like a building or a picture - that respects the Golden Ratio, and you kind of intuitively like it, it pleases your eyes.
To be honest, I'm not sure about these things, I'm not a mathematician, nor an architect, nor a historian of good taste in different ages.
But I kind of liked the symbolism of it, and even if it's a little bit counterintuitive, since we all are used to a "base 10" currency, it still works as an easily divisible sequence that is suited for a banknote !

Also, the size of the Klupek is 10 on 5cm, which is the same as a Monopoly Banknote. That was to question once again the origin of value we put into a funny piece of paper.
If you get real value out of an interaction made with a Klupek, how is it different than real value out of an interaction made with a Dollar ? Then why won't we accept a Monopoly Banknote ?
Now there's a lot of small details you can find on the Klupeks, I'm not going to explain them all.
Obviously, any currency that respects itself should have a See-through mechanism to avoid fraud, right ? Well, the Klupek has one !

The signature of the head of the Klupek Central Bank (me) has been made with a Puffin feather.

Mottos are written in approximative latin.

Klupeks are counted by humans, not with machines but with fingers (and toes if needed).

Ok this one is important, these blank spots on the verso are there for the members of the Community !
So they can write something, showcase their art, draw something, make a collage, whatever they think about !
Makes them even more unique, gives a story to tell to other members once they get a new one !
