Wild City Prints
So, if you've seen this page, you know we like to collect Manhole covers in different cities we visit. They are always different, symbolic representations on everyday objects that don't need to be beautiful, yet they can be beautiful.
And when it happens, it creates a corky charm about the place, it creates identity.
Also, if you've seen this page, you also know we like prints.
Why not combine both ?

This particular one we found in Tromsø.
Actually, we were a bit unprepared but liked the reindeer a lot so we kind of made a trial with an extra tie-dyed shirt we had anyway!

Seeing the beautiful covers in the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund, we decided to try again with a little bit more time and preparation!
And a proper second-hand shirt.
Made with the help of a pizza box we found in the trash.
That's the spirit.

We'll continue to hunt nice covers like this one and update this page once in a while!
Let's see how it turns out!

Small update from the Summer 2024 !
We've been staying in Tórshavn for a bit, and since the manhole covers are absolutely gorgeous, it was pretty obvious that we'd make a print too !
Yes, that's Thor's hammer !
The Thor you know, yes.
