Totally in time for Christmas 2025, we present you our cards for the occasion !
As we're in Morocco this year, we inspired ourselves with the famous Sideroxylon spinosum, the Argan tree, endemic to Morocco.
You see, the locals harvest the Argan seeds to create a myriad of products - cooking oil, cosmetics, soaps, you name it - and in the process are helped by unexpected allies : Goats !
They climb the thorny trees (yes), and eat the fruit of the Argan, leaving only the seeds for the farmers to gather.
This time, they happened to have found an Argan tree that looked a bit special.
"Christmas in Argania" - Cards 2025
We used a printing technique called "Taco perdido" in Spanish.
You cut the linoleum each time you make a new layer of color, so you loose the previous one - "perdido". It means we cannot print anymore of this design, making them extra unique !
For some of them, we then painted and colored the Christmas balls & Garland with Ink, Wax crayons or Pens, depending on what we thought would work best. There are also a few we left blank ! If you'd prefer that, let us know !
